Flush Bottom Y Valve is designed so as to completely seal off the outlet nozzle at the inner vessel wall. This prevents solids or liquid from accumulating and solidifying in the outlet nozzle neck and stopping discharge of the vessel contents. It also prevents the collection of unreacted material in the nozzle. Flush Bottom Y Valve is a special purpose valve used in piping and vessels to drain out any product or slurry left in the pipe or vessel. These valves are most commonly used for dead space free draining or feeding of vessels and pipelines.
